Prohibited Content

While Ned Wins is committed to helping people buy, sell and trade with one another locally, we also require that our members comply with applicable laws, policies and regulations. Users may not post ads for merchandise or services that are illegal where they live. If you see any suspicious or questionable content on the site, please email abuse@nedwins.com to inform us about any problems. We may take technical and legal steps to remove the content and/or keep offending users off Ned Wins. For your safety and for the safety of others, we require that you use the Ned Wins communication system.

Specifically prohibited items on Ned Wins:

  1. Alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
  2. Animals, plants and insects that are regulated or prohibited for sale under applicable laws.
  3. Blood, bodily fluids and body parts.
  4. Embargoed goods.
  5. Items designed to be used to commit a crime including not without limitation burglary tools, false identification and items used to manufacture illegal explosives or controlled substances.
  6. Material that infringes copyrights, trademarks or other third party rights, including but not limited to software or other digital goods you are not authorized to sell,
         warez, bootlegs (without consent of the band).
  7. Misrepresentations and counterfeit  currency, coins, stamps, tickets, as well as the equipment designed to make them.
  8.  Illegal telecommunications equipment, including but not limited to access cards, password sniffers, access cardprogrammers and unloopers, or cable descramblers
  9. Material that contains obscene material, child pornography or is harmful to minors.
  10. Prescription drugs, medical devices, controlled substances, illegal drugs, or drug paraphernalia.
  11. Nonprescription drugs that make false or misleading claims that might require FDA approval.
  12. Services or merchandise that promotes hatred and violence against specific groups of people.
  13. Services that are illegal including without limitation prostitution.
  14. Gambling items, including but not limited to lottery tickets, sports trading card 'grab bags', raffle tickets, sweepstakes entries or slot machines.
  15. Stocks and other securities.
  16. False identification cards, items with police insignia, citizenship documents, or birth certificates.
  17. Stolen goods or property with serial number removed or altered.
  18. Weapons (including but not limited to firearms, martial arts weapons, silencers, ammunition, disguised, or switchblade knives, BB guns, stun guns or tear gas) and weapons parts.
  19. Fireworks.
  20. Items containing hazardous substances or pesticides.
  21. An item that restrict transfer (such as tickets or coupons) and items you are not authorized to sell.
  22. Counterfeit, replica, or knock-off brand name goods.
  23. Used bedding and clothing, unless sanitized in accordance with law.
  24. Non-packaged food items or adulterated food.
  25. Used or rebuilt batteries or batteries containing mercury.
  26. Any item that is pornographic or depicts a human being engaged in actual sexual conduct including but not limited to sexual intercourse, including genital-genital, oral-genital, anal-genital, or oral-anal, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex, or bestiality, or masturbation, or sadistic or masochistic abuse, or lascivious exhibition of the genital or pubic area of any person.
  27. Any item that harasses, degrades, intimidates or is hateful toward an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability
  28. Any item that violates the Fair Housing Act by stating, in any notice or ad for the sale or rental of any dwelling, a discriminatory preference based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status or handicap (or violates any state or local law prohibiting discrimination on the basis of these or other characteristics).
  29. Any item that violates federal, state, or local equal employment opportunity laws, including but not limited to, stating in any advertisement for employment a preference or requirement based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, or disability. With respect to employers that employ four or more employees, any item that violates the anti-discrimination provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act, including requiring U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency (green card status) as a condition for employment, unless otherwise required in order to comply with law, regulation, executive order, or federal, state, or local government contract.
  30. Bulk email or mailing lists that contain names, addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifying information.
